Our Story

Detroit Pumpkin Company was born in the fall of 2024 from a shared passion for community and a desire to make a difference. Founders Ayla Ewald, Evan Brengman, and Jack O'Brien envisioned a business that would not only connect them with their neighbors but also serve as a vehicle for positive impact. The season provided the perfect inspiration: pumpkins! Why not bring the joy of fall decorating directly to people's homes?

Feedback from friends and family quickly revealed a promising opportunity. The joy sparked by our initial home decorations confirmed that people valued the way we could transform their homes for the fall season. Today, we're proud to deliver the spirit of fall to the Metro Detroit Tri-County area, serving communities from Flint in the north, to Ann Arbor in the west, and down to Monroe in the south.

Our Mission

At Detroit Pumpkin Company, our mission is simple: deliver the spirit of fall to your front door. We believe in sharing the joy of the season with our community by creating beautiful displays and giving back. From locally sourced pumpkins and materials to artistic designs and exceptional service, we strive to make your fall decorating effortless and meaningful.

Community is at the heart of our mission. That's why we're committed to giving back, donating a portion of all proceeds to support local charities and ensuring our love for pumpkins benefits the community.
