Our Story
Detroit Pumpkin Company was founded in the fall of 2024 by Monica Krygel, Evan Brengman, and Jack O'Brien with a simple idea: bring neighbors together through beautiful, seasonal porch displays.
What began as a few pumpkins for family and friends quickly grew into something more. The joy it sparked — smiles from neighbors, thoughtful messages, photos shared — showed us that people were craving connection and a little extra beauty at home.
Now, we’re proud to offer a full-service fall decorating experience across Metro Detroit. For us, it’s not just about pumpkins — it’s about community, creativity, and creating moments that make home feel even more special.
Our Mission
At Detroit Pumpkin Company, our mission is simple: to deliver premium, hand-selected porch pumpkins that turn everyday front steps into beautiful celebrations of fall.
We focus on quality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design — creating unforgettable porch displays that bring curbside joy to neighborhoods across Metro Detroit. By celebrating the season together, we help neighbors feel more connected, one porch at a time.
Community is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why a portion of every purchase is donated to local charities, allowing our love for pumpkins to give back in meaningful ways all season long.
